AB  - This paper proposes multimedia synchronization algorithms according to the Base Station`s (BS) buffering state while the mobile hosts readjust to the play-out time in mobile multimedia systems. We also describe method in which only the I-picture within the GOP stored in the old BS`s buffer is transmitted to the buffer of the new BS upon handoff control using the MPEG data`s characteristics. In number results, the proposed method not only provides more continuous play-out stream than previous methods, but that it also has a higher packet play-out rate and lower loss rate.
