AB  - In the last few years, different segmented displays for Bangla Letters and Digits have been proposed. The accuracy, simplicity and overall performance of the segmented displays depend on many criteria. In this paper, we have performed a review on all the proposed and implemented segmented displays for Bangla letters and digits, by studying a number of research papers on the segmented displays of Bangla letters and digits. It has been observed that a tradeoff is needed between the number of segments used for displaying the Bangla letters and digits and the cost, power consumption and outlook.
