AB - Metabolic changes in blood serum may be reflected in the biochemical composition of follicular fluid and can be indirectly influenced oocyte quality. The purpose of this study was to investigation metabolite composition variations of follicular fluid and blood serum in Iranian dromedary camels during the peak breeding season (October-march). Following slaughter, blood samples were collected from 50 female camels and follicular fluid aspirated from small (5-9 mm) and large (10-20 mm) follicles were analyzed for various metabolite concentrations, using the commercial kits.
