AB  - Feeding of hay supplemented with concentrates to Hassawi heifers improved feedlot performance and shortened the age to first estrus compared to animals fed hay alone. The intensity and length of estrus, size of follicles, diameter of corpus luteum and serum progesterone concentrations were significantly improved in animals fed concentrates compared to those fed hay alone.
