AB  - This study was carried out in the IBT_Goettingen Bioreactor using six different liquid media to see the rate of growth and sporulation of the Bacillus anthracis (Sterne strain) in them and hence to select the best medium to be used for anthrax vaccine production. Glucose infusion broth gave the higher growth but lower sporulation while meat infusion broth showed lower growth but higher spore count.
