AB  - Gangrenous dermatitis (GD) is economically important bacterial disease of poultry commonly associated with deep litter system of rearing. Present study was carried out in Tarai area of Uttaranchal (India) having high density of commercial poultry farming units, where a total of 23 outbreaks were recorded on 13 organized poultry farms. Average mortality rate was found to be 5.05 %. Age group of affected birds was of 7-15 weeks various predisposing factors were also taken into consideration during study of outbreaks
