abstract = {There are three parameters that are being concerned in high school student admission system in
Indonesia, academic performance, home-school distance and poor students. In this research, we propose an
automatic student admission system that accommodates these three aspects. Automatic model means students
do not need to choose their preferred schools, so that, it can reduce the number of fail admission. The main
purpose in developing this model is distributing smart students and poor students more equal in all schools
that are in the system. Meanwhile, the home-school distances should be maintained low. In this research, we
propose two models that then are compared to each other, round robin method and rank based method. There
are parameters that are observed in this research are home-school distance, academic performance distribution
and poor student distribution. Based on the simulation result, the round robin method performs better in
increasing equality among schools and in maintaining the home-school distance low. In the other side, the rank
based method performs better in appreciating the student’s academic performance.}
