    abstract = {Working in a group, especially, in the academic massive context is a privileged moment of exchange
and interaction between learners as well as between learners and the trainer. It is also important to customize
the learning process according to the skills and requirements of the each group of learners. We present in this
study an algorithm called LeCA (Learner&#146;s Clustering Algorithm) to grouping learners according to their
profiles. For this, we defined a model of a user profile as well as metrics to calculate the distance between
different profiles and also between a profile and a group.}
