    abstract = {The motivation of the research is to provide an efficient a complete algorithm for detecting the brain
diseases and calculating its growth. This research describes the proposed strategy to detect and extraction of
brain diseases from patient&#146;s MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) scan images of the brain. This method in
corporates with some noise removal functions, segmentation and morphological operations which are the basic
concepts of image processing. Detection and extraction of brain diseases from MRI scan images of the brain
is done by using MATLAB Software.}
