    abstract = {The 1 year and 5 years old <I>M</I>. <I>officinalis</I> cultivated 
  in Linfeng Village Beichuan county were detected using the Li-6400XT and PAM-2500 
  in a sunny day. The results showed that Photosynthetic rate (Pn), Transpiration 
  rate (Tr), stomatal conductance (Gs), NPQ and Fv/Fm of 5 years old <I>M. officinalis</I> 
  were higher than that of 1 year old <I>M</I>. <I>officinalis</I>. The 5 years 
  old <I>M</I>. <I>officinalis</I> was thought to be a better suitable for wider 
  living site after comparative analyzing both the photosynthetic and fluorescence
