The teeth were treated endodontically for 2 years with an interim filling of propolis mixed with propylene glycol. After 2 years, the postoperative intraoral periapical radiograph showed good periapical healing with complete resolution of periapical radiolucency. A thorough clinical evaluation, proper diagnosis and careful nonsurgical retreatment can often bring healing even in previous endodontic and surgically failed cases.
