Current study aimed at examining the influence of occupational stress on employees job performance within Amman Greater Municipality. Through adopting the quantitative approach; questionnaires were distributed on (284) employees working within Amman Greater Municipality. Results of study indicated that occupational stress does influence employees performance through the negative effect of underutilization of skills and work environment which appeared to be the most influential motives towards putting employees within occupational stress. Study recommended increasing the awareness of occupational stress influence among HR departments in order to take the needed procedures to lower the level of stress among employees.
