Aim of the work is to facilitate the potential investors for the optimal installation place choice for Renewable Energy Sources distributed production. The application is practical because it obtains all data from already stored data in a geographic information system. Also it is accurate because of the using of ATP-EMTP, a powerful transient phenomena calculation program. In this study, they are presented the theoretical background, the tools that were used and an application for the prefecture of Laconia, Greece.
