    Abstract: The mian aim of this study, is to provide an overview of Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques, a sub-area of Statistical Quality Control (SQC), which has been widely used in the manufacturing industry for a long time and its primary tool the control chart, the challenges and the benefits in the non-manufacturing sector notably the health care.
