The findings show that 90% marriages occur at early ages and mean age at marriage is very low i.e. 15.33 years. Literate women marry later than their illiterate counterparts. In this study the multivariate logistic regression analysis was conducted to identify the factors affecting early marriage. It provides that woman’s education, work status of women, husband’s education, family composition and mass-media exposure variables are the important determinants for early marriage.
