Connectivity represents a fundamental problem with respect to ad-hoc network operations. Since no fixed wired topology exists, maintaining links between nodes and paths for routing traffic is a difficult problem that is only now being researched. This work reviews some of the fundamental issues and research of ad-hoc networks in particular and wireless networks in general related to connectivity. Keywords:
