AB  - This study presents, a review of recently use control of ac electrical machines in electrical drives. A variety of control techniques, different in concept, are described, Direct Torque Control (DTC) with Space-Vector Modulation (DTC-SVM), trends in the DTC-SVM techniques based on neuro-fuzzy logic controllers and Vector control for Slip energy recovery in DFIG is presented. The increasing importance of speed or position sensorless speed and torque control techniques.
