Modern theories of pathogenesis of the disease are specified; clinical picture of the disease is described and treatment methods are presented in the study. Demodecosis is a wide-spread chronic disease, mainly on facial skin. Mites of genus Demodex are part of the skin microflora and the vast majority of people do not have any clinical symptoms and complaints, however, the mites support the severity of the inflammatory process in dermatoses such as acne, rosacea, perioral dermatitis and may cause an independent disease.
