This research uses classroom action research using descriptive quantitative research design. The results of the study include student activity in cycle 1 reaches percentage 68% while in cycle 2 reaches 87.25%, student’s understanding on cycle 1 reaches average with student learning mastery is 54.05% and in cycle 2 reaches average 83.78 with student’s learning mastery reaches 81.0%. It can be concluded that there is an increase from cycle 1 and 2. This indicates that there is an increase in student’s understanding of the diversity of rare animals through audio visual media in grade 4 elementary school students. ER -
