In recent times, resource allocation in OFDM has been attracting several researches in the field of wireless networking. It has been observed recently that the integration of OFDM and relay networks is providing considerable performance. In this study, comparative analysis is carried out by comparing the performance of the two optimization techniques namely, Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) and Improved Artificial Bee Colony (IABC). The performance of both the approaches is compared in terms of Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF), bit error rate, convergence behaviour and delay rate. Based on the evaluation results it is confirmed that IABC performs better than the ACO and ABC. ER -
