The aim of this research is to determine the perceived anti-corruption benefits of public e-Tendering which can help to minimize the human interference in public contracts. Structured questionnaire was designed for collecting primary data and telephone interview was conducted with the representatives of different government departments and their suppliers in Nepal. The results show that e-Tendering System has potential for to provide more transparency and accountability, especially by reduces the chances of corruption in public contracts in particular about 90% respondents agreed that automation capabilities of e-Tendering significantly increase the transparency and accountability in public sectors.
