A mathematical model of the accelerometer and a program of simulation working in MATLAB environment are proposed. This simulation enables to calculate the relative movement modulus, the measurement errors, damping ratio and also the choice of the accelerometer frequency band. The results obtained are discussed and can make easier the choice of the accelerometer that suits the vibration generated by the machine. ER -
