In order to overcome these adverse influences on an NCS, the work presents a method dealing with these issues based on model predictive control (MPC), and compares it with the existing try-once-discard (TOD) strategy. The proposed algorithm will adopt the predictive value if a controller and an actuator have not received a new value within a given time interval. The simulation results show that the algorithm can improve control performance. ER -
