The seasons affected all biochemical components investigated in the seminal plasma of goats as there was variation between the different months as well. The highest fructose concentrations in goats were recorded during the rainy and dry/rainy seasons. Citric acid concentrations were highest in the rainy period only whereas total protein concentrations were lower in the rainy/dry period compared to the other seasons of the year. Thus, climate conditions in the Brazilian Northeast are probably associated with these changes in the biochemical composition of bucks. ER -
