Abstract: Length-weight relationship and relative condition factor (Kn) of freshwater fish Bar-eyed Gobi: Glossogobius giuris (Hamilton) from the northern part of Bangladesh. They were studied from 627 specimens ranging from 5.6-23.8 cm in total length for 6 months from July 2003-December 2003. Length-weight relationship is shown by the following equations: Log w = -1.8419 + 2.768xlog L (for males) and log w = -1.708 + 2.667xlogL (for females). The relatives condition factor (Kn) was determined for either sex separately. Mean Kn for males and females was found to be 1.0555 and 1.00465, respectively. The length-weight relationship and relative condition factor shows that the growth of G. giuris is satisfactory in the population that freshwater fish of the "Atrai river" in Noagaon district.
