This research examines the role of leisure activities and life-satisfaction in order to overcome mobile addiction. We administered a survey to 293 students in Korea. The results of a Structural Equation Model (SEM) show that leisure activities lead to life-satisfaction which ultimately lowers mobile addiction. Furthermore, the results of multi-group SEM show that this effect holds for the high self-control group while the effect is insignificant for the low self-control group. The findings provide both theoretical and practical implications on mobile device addiction. Keywords: Leisure activity;life-satisfaction;mobile addiction;self-control;growing;implications
