An IBV isolate was recovered from the diseased broiler bird having hemorrhagic lesions in the respiratory tract. It was isolated from homogenized tissues samples by embryo inoculation. The virus was identified by characteristic dwarfing of embryo, Agar Gel Precipitation Test (AGPT) and reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
