Anaemia, weight loss, diarrhoea, jaundice and ascites with hepatic encephalopathy were the chief clinical signs observed. Haemogram revealed anaemia, thrombocytopenia and increased clotting time. Biochemical status showed severe hypoprotenemia and hypoalbuminemia with nonsignificant increase in globulin. ER -
