The result showed that Indonesia termed good faith as "te goede trouw" or "good faith" and the UK, termed it as "utmost good faith". Indonesia initially put that good faith upon the insured, however, as Act Number 40, 2014 on insurance had been enacted, the responsibility of the good faith belonged to the agency and the insurer as well. This was different from the UK in which from the beginning had set it under their regulation called Marine Insurance Act, 1906 that the responsibility of the good faith must be put upon both the insured and the insurer.
