As there are communication matters that rise as a result of speech anxiety, the matters must be handled adequately in order to guarantee that communication not impeded. This study, aims to provide a brief overview for the radix and the theory about speaking anxiety. This overview includes the foreign language classroom anxiety theory the nature of speaking anxiety and the causes and the effects of speaking anxiety. In addition, this study provides with some recent studies about speaking anxiety and concluded with some steps that teachers should follow to reduce student’s speaking anxiety. ER -
