A quantitative method was used in this study. The sample population comprised 309 subjects, of which 161 were male and 148 were female. Mccullough’s gratitude questionnaire, social support scale of Maleki and Elliot and McCoach and Siegle’s questionnaire of student’s performance were used. Cronbach’s alpha coefficient obtained in gratitude is 0.79, social support 0.87 and academic performance 0.81. The results obtained indicated that the better students’ academic performance increased student’s gratitude. The higher the social suport of students will also increase his/er gratitude. There is a positive and significant relationship between gratitude and social support and academic performance in terms of student’s gender. ER -
