One of the most critical factors in the development of agriculture in the Volgograd region was the outflow of young people from rural areas and as a consequence, the aging staff. However, the Volgograd region has been and remains an attractive subject of the Russian Federation for migration because of its favorable geographical position and at present, labor migration predominates in the region. Predicting the dynamics of the working population in view of migration processes discussed in the study is one of the main objectives of management of social and economic development of the region. The analysis and the forecast of the real dynamics of the working population, taking into account internal and external migration are presented in the study. Data processing was performed with the help of the software (STATISTICA 6.0). ER -
