The model was formulated on specific rate of biodegradation of the crude oil for both single and multiple microbial catalyzed reactions. The formulated model was tested for biodegradation of the diesel oil with experimental data obtained. The result of the simulation showed that the models are suitable for predicting the rates of biodegradation of hydrocarbon mixtures. ER -
