These resources e.g., files can be accessed from desktops, laptops, workstations, pdas, cell phones, televisions in many cases without regard to location and at very good speeds. Mobile agents can play an important role in allowing anytime/anywhere access. This study attempts to investigate the use of mobile agents as a means of improving data availability over a wireless network. Resources were distributed using the static client/server model as well as the dynamic mobile agent model and the results showed the viability of the mobile agents approach. ER -
