The effect of temperature variation on the fermentation step was analyzed. The method employed here was to use decrystallization, acid hydrolysis, neutralization, fermentation of reducing sugars using yeast, distillation and finally analysis to determine the percentage concentration of ethanol. It was observed that at moderately high temperature and enzyme loading of 30%, the yield of ethanol was appreciably high for the batch process fermentation. ER -
