The science teaching strategies listed in the methodology curricula of Science Education Programmes in Nigeria and its relationship to the Pre-Service Teacher Educators (PSTEs) instructional strategies was assessed. Two instrument tagged Guidelines for the Evaluation of Official Documents on Curriculum and PSTEs’Instructional Strategies Rating Scale were used to gather data. Sixty Pre-Service Science Teachers from four universities in Nigeria, two each offering B. Ed and BSc. Ed, respectively were randomly selected for the study. Content analysis was used to determine the presence or absence of the science teaching methods included in the methodology courses.
