As two members of the family of the fatty acid transport proteins, FATP1 and FATP4 involved in the transport of long chain fatty acids across the plasma membrane and the metabolism of fatty acids. They are the key genes which have an influence on fat content and maintain skin phospholipids metabolism. So, in this study, the characteristic of structure, function and variation of the gene FATP1 and FATP4 have been summarized. Researchers hope this content can provide certain reference for the researchers in the future. ER -
