Some pregnant does were flushed in the last month of pregnancy. Kids born to these does were housed at night and injected with vitamin B complex, using the subcutaneous route. Ninety percent of these goat kids survived in the first 12 weeks of life. In the control group only 23.3% of the kids survived. For successful winter kidding, the does should be flushed, kids injected with vitamin B complex and housed in order to reduce kid mortality. ER -
