A total of 11, 156 specimens were caught consisting of 25 species belonging to 14 families. In terms of species diversity, Characidae (16%), Schilbeidae (16%) and Cyprinidae (12%) were the highest. Parailia pellucida was the most abundant (71.30%). There was no significant difference in the longitudinal and vertical variation of the species.} }
