The Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) of (Thyroid Hormone Responsive Spot 14 gene) THRSPα gene was investigated in Zi geese, Wanxi White geese, Zhedong White geese and Shitou geese. One primer for exon 2 of THRSPα gene were designed according to the homologous sequence of duck. Six SNPs were found in the sequence of THRSPα gene and 6 genotypes AA, BB, CC, AB, AC and BC were detected in 4 goose populations. All the populations were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium at this polymorphic site (p>0.05). The results confirmed that there were polymorphisms in the exon 2 of THRSPα gene.} }
